The little man got a new game last week. The husband told me to buy his son the new Nintendo 3DS so the little girl gets to play with his old DSi XL. She does not really know how to use it proper but she wants to be messing with her brother's toys and cries when told not to. The ever (and over) spoiler husband said to give the little girl what she wants by giving the little man a better game. It is not very fair since one gets something used but then she is liable to tear the thing up because she is notorious for dropping and throwing stuff when she is not happy with it. The problem was solved for about an hour then she started wanting the 3DS. I already told the husband this was going to happen but he said we had to try anyway, lol. Now we have a new game the little man loves (he begs me to turn on the 3D that I have blocked with a pin) and an extra the little girl can throw away when she wants. I am happy that my kids get to have toys and expensive games but sometimes I also get annoyed when they do not seem to be content with they do have. I need to teach my kids to be grateful for every little (or expensive) things they have. It might not be easy but I will try to persevere for theirs and my own sake.
