odd toys

No matter how many toys the little man has, he still goes back to playing with things he finds inside the house. Things he is not supposed to mess with if he knows what is good for him. He used to play with plastic bags which we had to hide because his father said it was not safe. And then he played with kitchen utensils for a long time. Now he is fixated on the cardboard boxes that we have accumulated and saved for future use. He had his own version of cardboard displays in the living room this morning. He found boxes of all shapes that I stashed in the utility room and had them up and lined to play with. We let him play with the boxes until he had his fill so he will not cry when I put them away. Thankfully it is not that hard to divert his attention so I was able to clean the mess up before lunch time. I wonder what he will think of playing tomorrow. I hope it will not be the stove nor the Christmas tree though.
