potty training problems
The little man is not potty trained. This is one of two things that I am constantly having problems with. He is three years old, will be four in a few months. Yet he does not want to sit in the toilet. We have a nice potty chair for him which he refuses to use. He instead uses it as a toy. I made him sit in the toilet (I bought a seat made for little kids) and I had a hell of a time trying to make him stay still. He cried so hard I could not let him sit in it for long. I bought a DVD to watch to supposedly help him realize the "wonders" of using the potty, it did not work. I am running out of ideas until last night when I thought if he refuse to use the toilet then I will make it to where he will have to use it by refusing to give him a diaper. Now, I don't know if this is a good idea. I might just spend the day cleaning up after his mess (and I know it will be a mess) but this is better than waiting until he is ready. The husband is opposed to my idea. He said we should just wait until his boy is ready and he will let us know. I cannot wait anymore. At least without trying something else. I will try to do this for a few days during the day and see if there will be any changes. If still nothing happens then I don't have a choice but wait. What more can I do? I hope this plan will not blow up on my face somehow.
