the solution

There are a lot of acne products in the market right now that sometimes it is hard to know what to get and see what works for a person. And for somebody who is suffering from acne it is frustrating. Believe me I have been there. I basically tried every product advertised on television and used every bit of it which only made things worse. You know when somebody has skin problems and he goes scampering to the store buying products that's supposed to work good but when he uses it it didn't do a thing but add more problems to what he already has. Maybe manufacturers should make it a point to come up with something that works for everybody to stop these problems. I came to a point where I just quit using anything and that was when the acne just disappeared. Go figure.

say bye-bye

We taught our son to say bye-bye whenever somebody leaves and he did pretty well. He used to wave bye-bye everytime his dad leaves for work but just recently he just quit doing it. What he does when his father gets out the door he runs straight to the window facing the driveway and if the blind isn't open he would lift it up and look outside. He then smiles and waits until the car disappears from his sight. He does this with his brother's girlfriend too, all the time but never with his brother. He did it last night that dada laughed so hard at his boy's antics.

impressionable

When I see Madonna on television today I remember her music videos I watched when I was a teenager. Those were really provocative like wearing bodystockings and other daring clothes if you can call what she wore as dresses. It didn't stop me from watching her videos though. I like her songs and I was in awe of her talent. Of course I was young and innocent then. Impressionable. Now I know better. I still like some of her songs but I am not an avid fan anymore. In fact I look at celebrities now as not above us common people. They are just lucky to have talents and be in the limelight.

another favorite

When I gave my son spaghetti for dinner I had second thoughts about it. I don't like spaghetti much because it is a little too sour for my taste so I thought he wouldn't like it either. What do you know when I gave him a taste he asked for more. I was dumbfounded! My finicky boy loves spaghetti so much that when I told him he had enough he went off screaming bloody murder. Of course he knew there was still food on the bowl. So I gave it all to him until he was satisfied. When I ask him if he wants spaghetti he looks at me and smiles in anticipation. He is becoming more and more like his father when it comes to food choices. And I thought he will have preferences like mine. I don't blame him though, the husband said my food choices aren't varied. I eat the same food over and over again until something catches my fancy. I am glad my boy found something he likes. Hope he will experiment more.

life insurance rates

Before my stepdaughter and her husband found a provider for their life insurance policy, it took them a long time to search around for the best life insurance rates they can afford which offers good benefits. They had to surf the internet and called several providers before they decide on one. Now it has been almost a year since they have their life insurance and it seems like they are fine with it since we haven't heard any complaints yet.

played in the water

My son had a good time playing in his mini pool this afternoon. I promised I would bring him out when I mow the backyard but the husband thought differently so I didn't and just made up for it when I was done with the yard. He stayed in the pool for hours while I read my book. It took me a while to get him out of the pool but I promised him we will do it again tomorrow and he seemed to understand. Now the only way mama is going to get away with it is when he forgets which I don't think he will. Perhaps hubby will watch his boy tomorrow.

do we need a new grill?

My family loves to grill. We grill even without anything special to grill. Would you believe if I say I grill dried fish all the time? I love the smell of grilled fish and it saves me the pain of having to air the house have I decided to fry it. The problem is we have to run to the store when we run out of charcoal which is a pain. I would rather have a grill that can be ready anytime I want to use it like an Electric Grill perhaps? The questions are can we afford it and if we can will the husband agree to it? We already have two grills right now, one that uses charcoal and the other that uses gas, both of which look really bad if I should say it aloud. If I show hubby a nice electric grill which really doesn't cost much maybe he will make a go for it. I mean how can he say no when I don't have to yell at him that we are out of either charcoal or gas? And he doesn't have to clean out the charcoal anytime I decide to grill something. He will even probably embrace the idea. It will be another project we can save up on. How about you? Would you choose a regular grill when you have the option to get an elegant looking electric grill? I am all for it. For real.

i want my milk

Oh, boy! When my son saw me holding his sippy cup walking away from him he went off crying. He thought that I forgot to give him his before bed time milk. He likes to drink milk before either taking a nap or going to bed at night. He even asks for a cup in the morning before breakfast. When I went to our room to give him his cup he stopped crying to say thank you and took the cup from my hands as fast as he could before I change my mind. He is a funny little boy sometimes. And I love him so much.

relief

My boys are playing right now. After being a terror for the last hour our son has finally mellowed down and is now playing with his father. All is good I should say, that is until one of them gets bored and then mama has to intervene. They looked at grocery ads earlier of which I took pictures even if my hands were full. They were just so cute with bubby sitting on hubby's lap being a good boy. That was after the little man tried to unplug the computer among other things he did.

paper now, walls later?

My 21 month old son has just discover the wonders of the pen and paper. When he sees a pen lying somewhere within his reach he gets it and looks for a piece of paper to supposedly write on. He has a Doodle Pro we bought him weeks ago but he only uses it from time to time because he doesn't like the idea of the pen being tied up. I want to search for crayons and coloring books I can get him so he will really enjoy but I don't know where to start. Maybe an idea will just struck me. What I am afraid of is when he starts writing on walls and furniture. Then we will have to answer to dada when he gets home.

we are good

After a day of fearing my boy will have fever from his shot yesterday I can now breath easy. He didn't get a temp. He has runny nose which might have been the result of him staying in the tub too long than I would have liked but he doesn't care. I don't either. I am now a bit paranoid when it comes to my son after that scary episode we went through a few months ago. We are fine in here now knowing we won't have to worry about shots until two years later. Hurray! Now if he will only exercise caution when he runs then I wouldn't have to worry about bumps and bruises.

i want to be..

There was a time in my life when I thought about being a real estate agent. Simply because I have seen agents at the mall back in PI and I have heard talks from people who bought houses that the agents usually gets a hefty sum if they closed a deal. There were a lot of advantages in selling other people's properties may it be residential or commercial real estate for that matter. Or so I thought. Of course that thought never came into fruition. My mind wander from one job to the other depending on my current mood. And that was when I couldn't even work yet. Go figure.

shots

We brought our son to the clinic for his immunization appointment early today. We didn't have to wait long because we are the second appointment for the day. Bubby was brave enough not to cry when he got pricked but he was mad at the bandage they used on him. A coloring book and a sticker with Sponge Bob and Patrick in it did the trick. He smiled and said thank you for the bribe. We then went back to hubby's work place and waited until his lunch break so he can bring us home. No fever so far and I am hoping he will be fine because it was just one shot. His next schedule will be for two years later, thank goodness! Now we are back home and eating our snacks.

learning again

Being married to a mechanic, I now know a few things about cars and parts. For instance, before I can hardly tell an engine from a transmission. And with him constantly fixing his older kid's cars I realized that the heart of any air conditioning is the compressor. When I asked and he lectured me about the importance of air conditioning compressor I was amazed. Simply because I have heard of the term from him after a long time of trying to forget my thermodynamics subject from college. How was I to know I may be able to use that knowledge again if I can just make my mind dig the subject from the far away recesses of my brain? But anyways, I am glad he talks to me about his work knowing that he has to explain things to me one by one.

remembering the days

When my boy was young he was colicky and he cried a lot. True to being an infant he used to wake up every three hours to fed and puke among other things. When he was a few months old he wouldn't sleep without me singing and dancing while holding him in my arms. To top it all off, he didn't sleep through the night until he was about a year old. Imagine me lacking sleep, singing and dancing to appease my little boy. I used to get dizzy just doing it and most of the time ran out of songs to sing. He favored certain songs and used to scream so loud if he didn't like the song I was singing. On his sixth month though he acted like he abhorred the idea of me singing for him. So I stopped and just put him to bed right away and it worked for both of us. Ever since then when he gets sleepy I just fix his bed and let him sleep on his own which he does after playing for sometime in bed.
When I think about the first few months I couldn't believe I survived it without much help (hubby was at work most of the time). But I did. Now that my boy is bigger and older he can entertain himself when I am busy provided I check on him from time to time. He sleeps when I put him in his bed without his baba (I give his milk prior to putting him to bed), and he keeps me company during the day. Of course there are times he gets so rowdy but he is a kid after all. I let him do it as long as it isn't too much.

use coupons

Using coupons and coupon codes when you shop either at the store or online is important if you want to save money. We all know the state our economy is in and we need to do every little thing we know not to overspend because we might need the money on other important things like food and bills and maybe a little savings along the way. Using coupons have already helped a lot of people. Why not try using one now? You can go to savings.com for different kinds of coupons from various stores. It may be a coupon from a baby store, a coupon for clothes, or maybe a few MacMall coupons for your electronics needs. Admit it that coupons do help you pay less for your purchases if you just get the right one for what you need. And saving a few dollars in every purchase means a lot to your pocket because that means you can use the extra money on other expenses or better yet save it for other purposes. If you haven't started using coupons now you should better start doing it. My stepdaughter is big into coupons and I can see she really saves a lot of money. Imagine buying her computer for way less than it was supposed to be all because she encountered a website which has a coupon for the specific computer she wanted. I am starting to use coupons now when we go buy stuff from stores. I want to help save us money in the long run.

it quit working

He finally did it, I think. Our desktop computer stopped working since last night. We think it might have been the result of bubby's incessant quest to turn it off and then on to see what was going to happen next. Now the blasted computer won't work. I think it hasn't sank in with the husband yet because he acts as if he doesn't care. We'll wait a few more days and see if he won't raise hell over it. It will be bad when it happens knowing how he loves that computer he has for years (which makes me think it needed upgrade anyways). For now he uses my computer and seems to be contented with the little thing. It is time to look for stores which sells cpu because I think that was the problems. The monitor we got is still in tiptop shape and is working well. Or maybe we just need to buy a regular keyboard and mouse because it may be the cause of the problem? I don't know. These are all assumptions and speculations. I hope somebody can make this thing work again. I have got tons of pictures in it that I didn't even try to transfer to a cd.

about locks

Hopefully next year we will visit my relatives in Leyte. We will spend two weeks to be with my parents so they will get to know their grandson while hubby and I will run around going places I know he will love to discover. We already got travel bags but we need locks for them. I don't worry about the luggage safety here it is when we get to our destination because people might get interested in it knowing it was from another country. And because we need to purchase locks that can be opened at the airport I think getting tsa locks is a good idea. These kind of locks supposedly can be opened by airport security with TSA secured access device so we don't have to worry about opening it for them or anything. Hopefully this will work out for us. I am particular in keeping my stuff safe which often make my husband tell me I am paranoid but hey I am only after safety.

bilingual

Hubby told me yesterday that he dropped a penny on the floor and when he picked it up he said penny while bubby looked on. He was thrilled when he heard bubby said the word and ran up to me to brag about his boy. I know bubby mimics words we say and even would do things when I say it. Like when I say pat he would pat his thighs and when I say the alphabet with him he knows what's next. But when we try to talk to him we seldom understand what he was saying. He is already 21 months old and I sometimes worry about this because mamsy told me I started talking at 18 months but then I wasn't bilingual. My baby is since I talk to him in english and filipino and even the visayan dialect. Imagine processing those words and trying to differentiate it. I know he understands simple words in all languages though because I would say a stand up in filipino and he would do it right away without me saying it twice. He reacts that way with english and visayan. I didn't really want to teach him all these but hubby said it is better to start early so our son will get fluent in all. I hope he will and he won't get confused in the process.

party in style

If you are hosting a party for friends and colleagues it is normal for you to try to impress them right? You want them to remember the event and to remember you hosted it as well. To make an impression why not try to host your next party at the rooftop club of the Sheffield Baseball Club? The Rooftop overlooks the Wrigley Field so you can have your party at the same time watching the game. You don't have to provide entertainment because it is being provided for you. Cool huh? So if you are planning of hosting a party do it with style and make you guests talk about it for days after the event. If you decide to do it at Sheffield you can actually have choices. They not only have the rooftop but there are other levels as well depending on your budget and what you think will suit your visitors fancy. Aside from the Rooftop there is the Club level and the Exclusive All-Star Suite. Plan your party in advance and do it in style. Make an impression. Let people know how a real party should be done. Book the Sheffield now and watch the Cubs in action.

a new chair for my boy

Because of what my son has been doing recently which is climbing up on his high chair and use it as a regular chair to watch tv I decided we will get him a chair. Something that is safe for him and yet a little higher up from the ground. I think what makes him climb up the high chair is that when he is sitting in it he doesn't have to look up in the screen. He is after all level with the television so it is easier to watch. I don't know if I will find him a nice enough chair at an affordable price but I hope I will. My "big" boy is trying to act like the adults in the house and he doesn't want to use his brother's chair nor is he sitting in the carpet anymore so we have to get him his own. I will have to surf online for it so I will know where to get one.

happy weekend!

Bubby and I gets excited on Fridays because it means we are going to be out of the house most of the time for the next two days either to the beach or just anywhere we feel like going. My boy takes up after his father who likes the outdoors. While mama on the other hand just wants to be out mingling with other people after being coped up in the house on weekdays. It is hubby's days off so you see how important the weekend is for us. We are waiting for hubby to get home because today is our burger and fries day. It is more fun now specially that bubby shares the food with us. It is our family bonding time.

innovative

My boy is into dragging toys. He found his old plastic caterpillar toy and has been dragging it in the kitchen sometimes banging it in the cabinets when he runs just for the fun of it. Sometimes it is his brother's baseball bat and he astride it. It is funny how innovative he is considering I didn't show him how to do it. He finds ways to entertain himself when he doesn't need mama's attention. My boy is so funny.

get rid of acne

For people who have skin problems such as acne it is a normal reaction to be insecure and feel shy. Nobody wants to have blemished skin. You don't want people to look at you and see your face full of acne. While some people understand others don't especially those who haven't had acne in their lives. Yeah, the lucky ones. But you can do something to either prevent or get rid of your acne and that is by using an acne cream that works good for your skin. The face is sensitive so you better get the brand that works good on you to make your skin clear from acne and other skin blemishes. And always remember you gotta make sure you clean the affected areas as often as allowed. I am positive that as long as you follow the instruction your skin will look better.

what was he thinking?

I was doing my usual routine this morning when I noticed that my boy was quite. I get nervous when my boy is quite because I know he is up to no good. Don't get me wrong, my son is a good kid but he can't resist temptations yet and he loves to do things that makes my heart flip. I looked around and see what he did. I didn't dare call him because I know he will come running to me and I wouldn't know what he was doing. Besides if he hears me call his name and he is in our bed or the couch he will get down in a hurry which might have hurt him. So I checked where he was at and when I saw him sitting in his high chair trying to put his belt on my knees went weak. The chair is up about three feet from the floor. And there he was without anything to stop him from falling down. I got him down right away and told him it was an unsafe thing to do. He didn't even bother to listen and climbed back up again. Now I know the reason why he has been circling the high chair for days. He was trying to figure out how to get up on it and sit. I should really have nagged hubby to bring this chair in the shed before his son gets hurt. It is time for a booster seat I think. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt. What I was thinking was what if he slipped or was outbalanced and fell? I can't bear thinking about it.

about golfclubs

If you are fond of golf, I bet you know what are the best clubs and accessories to use. It is only fitting that an enthusiast knows what he is getting into. And you might have heard of Callaway, specifically Callaway irons as a nice brand to use if you are really into the sport. Honestly I am not into sports but I know a little background on each ones I watch on tv. Golf is a little laid back kind and I know most people who play this have the money to do so. I don't know if it is just me but I associate the game with money and luxury. Perhaps it is because of what I hear and see on television where mostly celebrities and businessmen play the game.

my boy and mr sippy

My boy takes growing up to the next level. He used to drink from the sippy cup on and off during the day while he used the bottle before he slept at night. But that was before I decided to throw all his bottles in the trash can. Now he drinks from the sippy cup all the time. The good thing about this is that I don't have to worry about his teeth rotting or any liquid getting in his ears. The bad thing is the kind he's holding in this picture is thin and cracks easily when he plays with the cap. Which reminds me I have to buy sturdy ones so it will last longer. I have thrown two caps for the last two weeks. He doesn't whine or ask for his baba anymore. He knows he is a big boy and big boys don't drink from bottles. Except for when dada gets him bottled water from the store. I like this change. I know it is coming because he will be two years old in three months. I don't have to wash bottles anymore and worry about plastic nipple replacements. Hurray!

gimme a kiss

I like to shower my boy with kisses and he loves it. In fact he would come up to me even if I don't call for him and press his forehead on my lips. Recently to settle him to sleep I kiss him in the lips and after that he settles down and sleeps like, well, a baby that he is. I didn't know he wanted hubby to do it to him to. When he climbs up to him to snuggle (for some reason he likes to sit with dada more than with me) he holds dada's face and wants him to kiss him on the lips too only dada didn't know until I told him so he kisses him in the nose or the forehead. I am enjoying this amazing thing right now because I know when he gets older there will be no more of this displays of affection. We probably will be lucky if he will let us hug him when he is a "big" boy. When he is playing with his toys and I am in the computer he would run up to me and show what he is doing and then lays his head on my lap which I find so endearing. He used to be a very independent boy (or he tried to be) and wouldn't be bothered with things like this but as he grows older he has changed and is now a lovey dovey toddler. I am loving being a mother of an almost two year old boy.

tactical gear

I was a CAT officer when I was in high school albeit an inactive one because of other academic pursuits. But anyway, the times that we were in the field was fun for me. It shows the bossy side of me and I loved it, lol. Although there weren't that many students we still managed to make it all work out. We had tactical gear that sometimes we just borrow from previous officers. Most are provided from the school. You must understand that I was from the province and so buying gears was a luxury. But it didn't deter us from doing what we liked most. My brother's time was different though. He had everything that an officer needed only because he was active and our parents supported him all the way. I guess they realized that my heart was divided that time and they just wanted me to do whatever works for me.

growing up

Bubby is into trying to put his shoes, sandals, and flip flops by himself. He brings all these in one corner and tries to put it one by one. I try to help but I guess it defeats the purpose of trying to do it by himself. He always puts the wrong side though. But I think it is cute for him to even try to do it. It only reminds me that my son is growing up. In a few years he will try to do things alone and probably would shoo me away when I try to help.

time to replace the old with the new

We need new outdoor furniture again. The set we have in the backyard is starting to deteriorate. It actually was just given to us by hubby's daughter and we have had it for six months now. It is all faded and the seats are starting to tear up. Maybe when we get the chance to go buy for another seat we will find something that is water proof. Something that will not easily tear when left under the elements. We need outdoor furniture because we like to stay in the backyard just to chill out.

babysitting

I am babysitting bubby's nephew right now. I was hoping they will play but they don't. Bubby really wants to but Matthew is a little wary of him and of us in general. His mother said he has been clingy for months now and cries at just every little thing. So I put him in the playpen to put some distance between him and my boy. Bubby plays by himself while listening to his nephew playing in the playpen. I guess it works well for them to play that way. At least I can be assured nobody's gonna get hurt or cry. I am used to my boy crying only occasionally that I don't want to hear any screaming or yelling at the moment. Let's hope they get to play later. They need to interact for their own good.

sleeping in his own room

When bubby stays in his own room we plan to get him regular furniture instead. So we won't have to upgrade his room when he gets older. He needs a big bed anyway because of the way he sleeps and I think that is safer than the usual toddler bed. We have to scour different furniture stores for this purpose though when the time is right. We will find him nice furniture at hopefully affordable price. We don't need much since I believe in being minimalistic so as not to crowd his room with nonsense stuff. It is time to start saving up to be able to buy his own stuff. He may have to stay in his own room next year. He is a big boy and I know he will like it.

whistle

I like to whistle. I practiced on that when I was a kid because most kids my age knew how. So wasn't it only fitting I learn too? I have to to fit in. Good thing it wasn't something sinister, lol. Anyways, I was whistling one day when bubby heard it and he tried to mimic the sound. It was so funny because once I started he won't let me stop. He likes the sound I guess. He giggles when he feels the air coming from my mouth. I bet he will be whistling before long. Along with clucking his tongue to rile up dada :D

about hopes and dreams

Hubby wants to have his own boat someday. It is a running joke between us that when we win the lottery we will live life the way we want it, just enjoy everyday and not worry about a thing. And his form of enjoyment is being either close to or in the water. Hence the hope of buying a boat one day. I told him there are a lot of things he has to learn about boats and the stuff that comes with it but he said he is willing to learn. He is open to anything. In fact he had a boat when he was younger but had to sell it because of personal reasons. I am sure if he has one now he will take good care of it the way he does our cars. He is the kind of person who takes care and respects his properties. He may even upgrade it every time like getting this new boat lights that is in the market or make sure that body is still in good shape and the paint is still as bright as the day it was purchased. It is still a dream right now but I know he will work on it. If there is one thing I know about my man is that he is one persistent guy. He tries hard until he gets what he wants. And in the long run he does. He said it is because it was really meant for him. And that the One above knows he needs it. He will be a very happy man when this wish comes true.

weaned from baby bottles

A few days ago I decided I am tired of cleaning milk bottles so I throw bubby's bottles in the trash can. I then proceeded to explain to him that since he drinks other liquid from the sippy cup then it is time to try milk on it. He looked at me and smiled. The first day was bad. He only took a few sips of milk and then bathe himself with it. I had to be patient because it was my decision to totally wean him off the bottle. The second day got better. I think it might have sank in to him that that was it. No more bottles. Not ever. So he started drinking his milk more and more. And just last night when I gave him seven ounces of milk in his sippy cup he drained it all. I am so glad. That means no more bathing in milk. I just knew that with patience and perseverance I will succeed in weaning him. Good thing my boy is not difficult when he has to let go some of his routines when he was a little baby. In fact, I think he looks forward to it. I am one lucky mother. Sometimes :)

fireworks

When we went to the beach to walk last night somebody lighted some fireworks. It was pretty. We kept on looking up the sky while walking. I told bubby to look up and see the fireworks display. He was in hubby's arms because he got tired from walking and running to keep up with us. He liked the fireworks display but was afraid of the loud sound. He hang on to dada real tight, with his fists holding dada's shirt tightly. He even had his head on dada's neck. Poor thing was scared. I guess he isn't ready for these kind of things yet. I don't blame him. I also don't like the sound of some loud firecrackers.

temper tantrum

My boy throw a huge fit this morning. It all started when he wanted to play with the printer. He likes to turn it on and off because of the sound it makes. I have often told him that he is not supposed to play with the thing but being a boy he tries over and over again. He dragged his bike near the computer table, climbed up on it then tiptoed so he can reach the printer. Since he isn't supposed to do it because he might tear up the printer and he could fall down and hurt himself I told him no. I dragged his bike and put it in his playpen so he couldn't use it anymore. That was when he started screaming and yelling. He rolled in the carpet screaming so loud because he didn't get his way. I let him do it and just watched him. A few minutes later hubby called and his son was still in a fit. I told him what was wrong and he said to just let bubby be. When I hang up I sat in the couch and tried to ignore the racket my son was making. When he saw me not looking at him and not even bothering to shush him he climbed up on the couch with me and started gibber jabbering like nothing happened. He wouldn't look at me at all which is a sign he is embarrassed but tried to sit in my lap. I then talked to him about not doing it again since it is not a good thing to do. Thankfully I didn't lose my cool or else the scene would have went on and on. He is really loud when he wants to be.

he likes to play

My boy wants to play with either me or hubby now. Used to, he just plays on his own that when we try to play with him we got ignored. He used to turn his back on us when we attempted to play with him in the past. Now he pulls me to the living room so I can play with him. If hubby is home his boy will climb up to his lap and either mess with his face or make silly noises to get his attention. He even would try to talk (growl actually) with people on the stores. And as what one woman said last night flirt with girls. It is good to know that we have a social kid. I was afraid that since he rarely sees other kids he will end up not knowing how to react to other people. he proved me wrong again. I am just glad that my boy is developing normally. Hubby even said his son is smarter than we think :D

all about milk

My boy's developed a taste for rice milk. Since I use rice milk for his breakfast cereal whenever I try to use juice or water on it as substitute he won't eat the food. He spits it out no matter how I coax him to eat. I should blame hubby for this. After he heard on a radio talk show talking about the nasty (according to what he heard and what we read online) way milk is processed and prepared he won't let me give his son anything but rice milk. I must admit it is good but we have to make a special trip to Wal-Mart for it since it is the only store here where there is rice milk in stock all the time. Because of this too, bubby is still using (fit for his age) powdered milk. I like the powdered milk because I don't have to worry about it going bad quick. As for the rice milk I don't have a choice but to follow hubby's lead. After all it is for our boy. Maybe when he is older we will let bubby drink regular milk. For now that he is young we will try to stir him away from it.

swimming lessons?

Hubby and I are thinking of giving bubby swimming lessons. We want him to learn how to swim so we won't have to worry about him getting in the water. I talked about enrolling bubby in karate class too when he gets older which hubby agrees right away. I don't know which one we will do first. We might just have to do the swimming lessons together, or maybe hubby will do it since he knows how to swim and I don't. The karate class we'll have to enroll him in a school if we can afford it. These are just plans though. We might go ahead with it soon or maybe later. We will let bubby decide too which means we will have to wait until he gets older. It is fun planning activities for our son and we hope we can work on it. This will be good to channel some of his energy to good use.

fake smile

Whenever my son sees me holding the camera and aiming it at him he gives me a fake smile. He knows that I am going to capture his image so he makes it a point to smile which only ends up with him looking goofy in the picture. I told him to smile naturally just like before but he won't do it. He has other ideas so I just let him do whatever he wants. There was even a picture of him that I took the other day where he bared his teeth just when the camera flashed. The result was so funny. I am thinking of sending it to his grandparents in Leyte. He is becoming more and more fun each day with the things he does. The thing with my boy is he seldom calls me, he calls his dada instead. Now I wonder why is that?

gaining weight

This is the result of hubby urging me to feed his boy, he is gaining weight fast. When I looked at him this evening I was surprised because he really is filling up. I personally don't want him to be big. As long as he is healthy I don't care if he is on the skinny side but hubby has a different idea. Now that I see bubby is back to his normal chubby self though it is time to limit his food intake again. It is better to start when he is young because it is not good for a kid to be overweight. And believe me, losing weight is hard. I just hope that mama will be successful with her plans.
