thank you!

I have been teaching my boy some words and phrases both in my native Bisaya and English and he tries to say the words too. The other day I made him say the words gwapo ako and sure enough he said 'apo ako. I was amazed since I thought he wouldn't know how to say it. It was funny in a way too. Now I know my boy is filipino, lol. Also when he asks for his snacks I tell him to say thank you afterwards and he would look at me in the eye and smile and say thank you. I feel proud of his accomplishments. I was just waiting for him to start talking and I didn't realize until a few days ago that I have to stimulate him to talk and have normal conversations with me or dada. Well, we both are starting to learn and I am sure there will be more to learn later.
